24 October - NBA 2K8 just came in the mail… for free?

I was surprised this morning to find the FedEx guy at my front door with a package for me. I never recalled buying anything recently. After going through the necessary procedures and making sure it wasn’t a bomb or something, I opened it, and….

    BOOM

There it is. The brand new NBA 2K8 for the PS2, along with the official sound track, and a T-shirt:

Well, I was supposed to give a review for the game (I was approached by the creators) on a website I used to own; SportsAddicted.net. Since I sold it off a while back, I guess I’ll just give everyone my review here on my blog.

To start off, it looks great. I was too excited to go through the instructions booklet, and dove right into the game itself.

    NBA 2K8 Game Opened

Although it takes some time to get used to, the game itself is amazing. The graphics are perfect, the game-play is amazing, and everything is just so up-to-date. I spent the whole day playing it, and I still couldn’t get enough. Wow wow wow all the way.

The music however isn’t that great. It just doesn’t get your blood flowing enough, but that’s minor. Overall, it’s a great game, and you need to get it if you have a PS2, PS3, or an Xbox 360. It’s priced at around $50, so it’s a good buy.

Thanks again to 2K Sports for the cool game. Enough blogging, I’m back to shooting some virtual hoops ;).

6 October - Good news… and Bad news

I’m still here, and I promise I WILL update more :p. It just takes more than one reminder from more than one person to motivate me to update my blog.

Anyways, a lot of things has happened since I last blogged (which was around a month ago). Let’s start with the bad news. Rayku.com coding is 98% complete (going through final beta phase), BUT, I owe a bit over $6500 for the final payment of the coding work. I barely have that much to spare, so I’m here every day, trying to make the most of my time optimizing my spendable websites so I can sell them off when I am required to pay up. The problem is, well, I have like 2 hours a day online (with school and all), and own only a few spendable websites to work with:

    - MrAlmighty.com
    - FakeBets.net
    - SimsPortal.net

What to do? WHAT TO DO?

Ok, now the good news :p. LiveTV.ws is getting thousands of unique visitors per day, and just broke the 7,500 member mark, growing by 2-300 each day. Revenue is up pushing me past the $50/day mark purely off of google adsense. Now with the revenue from my private advertisers, I’m already making a steady income, just off of one website.

That’s all for now. I’ll try to remember to update next week. If I don’t, don’t bomb me with emails.. please.

      8 September - I’m still here!

Ok, it’s been over two months now. I’m sure all my readers are gone by now, but I guess I’ll have to post sometime anyways.

Let’s see, LiveTV.ws has been a huge success. It is now earning over $300 each month off of google adsense, and another $300 or so purely off of private advertisers. I checked today, and we are just past the 4000 member mark, growing by the hundreds each day. Traffic has been also great with 50-70 users on at all times watching live TV channels. If you haven’t already, be sure to check it out: http://www.livetv.ws.

Aand in other news….. Lifies.com has been renamed to RayKu.com. Every time I mentioned the old name to anyone, they would burst out laughing (except mom. Dad was whipping away tears though). Anyways, it’s still the same site. Adam Flynn of Critical Developments has the backend coding of the site almost complete. We are approaching the beta phase which should start this monday in fact. New ideas, new features. It’s going to be great. Stay tuned ;). I don’t want to reveal too much.

      5 July - ChristianAvenue.org Donation in a Long Time

Ahh :). It’s been such a long time since someone donated to my ChristianAvenue.org website. Every other day, I would check my email and answer the support questions sent by my visitors. I just went through my email accounts (yes, all 4) this morning and saw the first paypal donation in a pretty long time. Last time, it was $5. This time, it’s $44 :p. Unfortunately, the donor put his or her name as ‘annonymous’, so there wasn’t really any way for me to acknowledge this generous brother/sister.

Ahhhh man it feels good to be appreciated for all that work :D.

      2 July - WiredFlame Sold for 7.5k, LiveTV.ws Acquired… +More!

It’s been such a long time since I’ve updated my blog. To be honest, I basically forgot about it with all the things that’s been going on in my little world. A friend asked me today when I’ll be updating my blog, which reminded me (also proving that people DO read my blog) of how long it’s been since I’ve done something with it. So here I am, updating you with everything I forgot to tell you. By the way, the reason why there are no comments displayed for any of my recent posts is because of the amount of spam I’m getting here. I put it to admin approval only, and don’t have the time to delete/approve all the pending comments.

    WiredFlame Sold for 7.5k
Sale went through pretty successfully. New buyers are upgrading the backend coding and client userpanel for a better management system. I guess they’ll be taking WiredFlame a lot further than I ever planned to. If you’re looking for quality posts by a very strong writer pool (that I built myself), make sure to choose them ;).

    LiveTV.ws Acquired
LiveTV.ws is one of the most web 2.0-complete sites I’ve ever seen. I just had to get my hands on it, and did, with it’s rather high price tag. But, it’s definitely worth the investment. Check it out for yourself: http://www.livetv.ws. I offered to hire the programmer who created the site to take it a step forward by adding a membership system and an intelligent backend system which will make it so much easier for future advertisers.

    SportsAddicted.net Design Underway
After starting the ‘Xbox 360 Elite, PS3, or $500 IN CASH Rebirth Contest‘ on the forums to help bring back activity, I started looking into getting a new home page design and skin for the site/forum. Thankfully, I found a very professional fellow on my MSN (no idea why he was there) that charged $600 for a complete design package. This includes a brand new home page design, a matching skin, and advertisement banner set, all coded and ready to go. Normally I don’t spend this much on a new design, but his designs are a whole new level in design :p.

    Lifies.com Renamed
Well, not exactly. Lifies.com will no longer be just a social network website, but an English Learning Social Networking Community! Yup. I’m working on the plan right now, and it’s really a pain in the butt cheeks. Oh well, as soon as that’s done, there’s not much else for me to do. Remember, I can’t design or code :’(.

Hmm… I think I’ve covered everything. Oh, and I bought a new computer, so I guess that will help speed up a few things.

PS, I PROMISE to update the blog every once in a while. If I don’t, make sure to give me a nudge: webmaster@kinkarso.com

7 June - WiredFlame up for Sale!

I listed WiredFlame up for sale a few days ago, and things are going great. I set the starting bid to $8,000 US, and the BIN to $12,000 US. I’ve received 5 offers so far. Largest at $7,500. Now that there is only 3 days left, things are getting more intense as more questions are pouring in about the site.       28 May - Lifies Second Stage - Content Creation :X

Just yesterday, I completed the transaction for wospace.com. It went for a cool $1400, which will be added to the Lifies Project Fund (due June 10th btw :/). Anyways, now that I have the Lifies home page and sub page designed and coded, I need to start on the worst part; the content :S. I am about 95% finished the profile page design, and will have that coded by tomorrow. I basically based it off of facebook’s profile page, yet if you put the two designs side by side, you really can’t tell that I did. It’s pretty sexy if you ask me. Can’t believe I did that myself :o.

Anyways, I have lots and lots and lots of work to do. I really need to take some time off. But, I’m on a tight schedule that I just can’t screw up. What can I say? It’s for my future :D :p.

      18 May - Lifies.com Social Networking Project

First off, Kinkarso.com just sold another one of our great sites (Rails411.com this time) for an awesome $1,200! Payment has already been transferred into my paypal account, and the site is being transferred right now. I put Rails411 for sale because of the money investment required to start the brand new project I will be working on these few months; Lifies.com! I do not want to disclose any more information too soon. Logo has already been made, and the design is being created as you read this.
